How to Fix Windows Was Unable to Complete the Format of USB Pen Drive

Hi Guys,

Below are the basic steps that you can format your USB Pen Drive. All the below steps are in pictorial representation so no worries about it .

Step 1 . When you try to format the USB pen Drive you get the below error  

Step 2 Press window+R and type diskpart

Step 3 . diskpart will open

Step 4. Type list Disk 

Step 5. Choose the disk that you want to clean. Let's suppose i have chosen 1 then type select disk 1  

Step 5 . Now its moment of clean the disk via the command Clean 

Step 6. Go to the storage > disk management and mark the partition as active by right click on your USB otherwise, you will not be able to go inside the USB Pen Drive
